Houten, 22 March 2022
The Royal Dutch Mint is the proud supplier of the medals for the Invictus Games The Hague 2020! The medals were designed by the Royal Dutch Mint. During the design process of the medals, the designer was inspired by the participants: ordinary people who deliver extraordinary performances in exceptional circumstances, make high sacrifices and yet, with every heartbeat, can find the strength to carry on. The heart beat can be seen along the edge on the obverse and reverse of the medals. Gold, Silver and Bronze are all provided with a yellow tulip on the reverse, enamelled by the silversmiths of the Royal Dutch Mint: the symbol of the Invictus Games The Hague 2020.
